Hi, I’m Henriette. I am a mother of two, a maker, and the heart behind Kaawe Design, which means “yours.” My creativity is an extension of who I am. I am shaped by resilience, joy, and a return to the things that make me feel most alive. I fell in love with creating as a child, but life took me on a long detour. During the stillness of the pandemic, I found my way back. Painting became my sanctuary, a quiet place where I felt whole again. What began as a hobby has blossomed into a passionate creative journey. To me, art is everywhere. It’s not just what I create, it’s what I see. Every shape, every object, every shadow speaks to me. I can look at something ordinary and already imagine how to craft it, how to design it, how to bring it to life. Color and form don’t just exist but they talk. And when I’m absorbed in them, I feel most alive. Through painting and resin work, I turn those inspirations into pieces meant to move you — to bring warmth, emotion, and story into your space.
